  3. Current muse (x2) - Again!

It really isn’t my fault that fashion keeps producing good things in twos (my last muses were twins)….Now enter Bronx-born, Staten Island raised Nigerian sisters Darlene and Lizzy Okpo of the fashion label William Okpo…I love their extra-long locks - proof that it really is the season of the braid. Boom!

GQ | Double Breasted Street Style

The Double-Breasted suit is on the rise and rise it would seem. Seen here in the form of a red cardigan and of course the classic look of the double breasted blazer. So if you’re still thinking that we’re being perverted, we’re not, we’re talking about suits and not the female anatomy okay. Get your mind out of the gutter. Shame on you. SHAME!

  10. I’ve had this picture on my desktop for a while now and I really can’t get over Nandipha Mntambo’s creations. Announced this year’s Standard Bank Young Artist for Visual Art 2011, she makes the most incredible sculptures using cow hide.

I love the movement that has been suggested through the pleats ….. I’m sure they cost an arm and a leg too.

A picture of the Swaziland born South African artist taken at a bull fighting arena in Maputo, Mozambique…..she’s obsessed with bull fighting, a theme that runs deep in her current exhibition - Faena which can be found at the Iziko South African National Gallery in Cape Town until November 7th
