A Sort of Book List

I can say that I really enjoy reading, though I haven’t done much of it in a while now. I call this ‘A sort of book list’ because these are just some of the books I have to have read by the end of the year. Owning all of them one day would be even better.
At one point I remeber borrowing the above book from my varsity librabry but returned it after failing to finish it before d-day. One day I’ll have my hands on it again and when I’m done with it, I’ll move on to another Bessie classic - Maru….

Last month I finally bought me a copy of The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari…

When I’m done with that, I’ll follow up with The Secret Letters of the Monk who Sold his Ferrari (which I thankfully received in a media pack during my journalism days)….

I once read the opening page to this (below) book. I’m a hopeless romantic and besides, the writing was so good that from that brief read I was hooked forever. I’ll be on the look out for it…

Nothing quite excites me like young South African writers. Cynthia Majeke is one such writer - the title to her book incites in me a warmth I can’t quite describe…

As a person who’s all about self-actualisation, I’m almost ashamed that I still haven’t read this book….I plan to hunt it down very soon….

Another South African book by a young writer, Kgebetli Moele ….

The Satorialist and a Chanel book (almsot any Chanel book) - these last two are not so much ‘must reads’ than coffee table must haves…
